Lumb Group came to The Growth Edit as a brand-new commercial solar and storage company in need of a complete identity and online presence.
Starting from the ground up, I created their logo, branding, website and marketing graphics, building a clear and professional foundation for the business to launch from.
I’m also supporting their ongoing growth through targeted data building and email marketing, helping them reach the right businesses and generate new opportunities.
WHAT WE DID…
1. Industry Research
2. Website structure
3. Copy & messaging
4. Design & build
As is with all new website designs, I started with some research of the commercial solar and battery storage market, including common customer questions, industry terminology, competitors and what potential clients need to understand before making an enquiry.
The next step was to plan the pages and customer journey, making sure visitors could quickly understand Lumb Group’s services, who they work with and the potential benefits of solar.
I then wrote clear, straightforward website copy that explained technical services without making them feel overly complicated or full of jargon (this helps with SEO/AIO too).
(The fun bit!) I designed and built the full website in line with the new Lumb Group branding, creating a professional, credible and easy-to-navigate online presence.
5. LEAD GENERATION TOOLS
6. SEO/AIO & LAUNCH
I added clear calls to action, enquiry forms and built a solar savings calculator to help turn website visitors into potential customers.
The last step was to optimise the website structure, page titles and content for search, ensuring there were internal links, information pages and content to showcase Lumb Group’s expertise in solar and storage.
The Result…
The DETAILS…
We designed and built a solar savings calculator
using average UK commercial electricity prices, estimated system performance and typical
return-on-investment data. This generates a savings estimate based on the user's energy usage, and provides Lumb Group with a warm lead.
We added a WhatsApp button for
instant communication between a potential customer, and Jack, Lumb Group’s founder.
